UTHS Marching Panthers are East Moline Citizens of the Year!Last year's Citizen of the Year wasn't actually one person, but a group -- the United Township High School marching band. Since becoming a competitive band in 1987, the Marching Panthers have won the State of Illinois Invitational Marching Band Championships held at Illinois State University in Bloomington six times. Since 1990, the band has been a finalist at the ISU competition 16 times.

UTHS RAFFLE TICKET SALE
is underway! We need your enthusiastic support and participation. Raffle tickets are $50 and are available from the band office. The drawing is Saturday, March 13 at the Annual UTHS Booster Bash.

SOLO & ENSEMBLE CONTESTS
The solo contest will be held on Saturday morning, February 20. The Solo and Ensemble Contest will be held and hosted at UTHS on Saturday, March 6. Solos for students who ordered them are in!! Please pick up your today! Make checks payable to Grigg's Music. Please contact Mr. Maccabee with further questions.
