MARCHING BAND ORGANIZATION MEETING
Please join us on Tuesday, May 27 at 7:00 PM in the UT Auditorium. We will be holding a mandatory meeting for ALL members of the 2008 UTHS Marching Band and their parents. This meeting will last approximately 45 minutes. All students and parents will receive necessary information regarding next year's Marching Panthers. It is imperative that everyone attend so we can get off to a good start! PARENTS: It is imperative that you volunteer! There will be sign up sheets in the hallway by the auditorium. Please take the time to sign up for the areas you are able to help with!
SPRING BAND CONCERT
featuring both the Concert Band and the Symphonic Band will be held Tursday, May 15 at 7:00 PM in the UT Auditorium. As always, admission is free! This is also Senior Night! ALL seniors and their parents should meet in the band hallway at 6:45 PM. We will introduce you to the audience at the beginning of the concert.
BAND AWARDS NIGHT
is Friday, May 16 at 6:00 PM in the UT Cafeteria. This is a potluck style banquet--we ask every family to bring two dishes to share (entree, salad, side, or dessert). Please bring enough for 6 people! We want to make certain that everyone has enough to eat, and this event is very well attended! A $5.00 free will donation. As always, we will have a dance for the students immediately following the presentation of awards. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. It is a terrific, fun evening for everyone! Master DJ will once again provide music for the dance!
